To ensure the ideological and political education of English major students, it is an urgent mission for every teacher to integrate ideological and political education into the talent training system of the English major. 'Integrated English' as the core course of the English major and the key course that students will encounter in their first year of school, is a course that if we do a good job in the ideological and political construction of 'Integrated English', will have a significant impact on ideological and political education.
In September 2022, the project "Teaching Practice of Core English Major Courses under the Ideological and Political Perspective - Taking 'Integrated English 2' as an example" led by Li Xiuming, vice dean of the School of Foreign Languages, and the team of teacher Xu Jiani, was successfully completed and submitted the results. Through research, teachers are experimenting with new ways to educate students.
