徐东，博士，中共党员，现任外国语学院专任教师。主要从事外语教学与翻译研究，研究方向包括外宣翻译、话语分析、叙事学、技术传播与英语教学。
熟悉英美文化，曾赴英国林肯大学、美国加州大学圣地亚哥分校、哈佛大学和澳大利亚西澳大学等高校访学研修。
主持省部级（中央部委专项）项目1项：中国政治话语国际传播的叙事建构研究，中国外文出版发行事业局2025年度国际传播与翻译人才评价国际化研究课题项目（批准号FYYJ06）。此外，主持多项院校级科研项目，在国内外学术期刊发表多篇论文，参编教材1部，并担任多本SSCI/A&HCI收录期刊的审稿专家。
Xu Dong, Ph.D. in Translation Studies, is a CPC member, lecturer and researcher, serving on the full-time faculty at the School of Foreign Languages. His academic work focuses primarily on foreign language education and translation studies, with research interests including translation for international communication, discourse analysis, narratology, technical communication, and English language teaching.
He is well versed in British and American cultures and has undertaken academic visits and research training at prestigious institutions such as the University of Lincoln (UK), the University of California, San Diego (USA), Harvard University (USA), and the University of Western Australia.
His research grants include a ministerial-level special project as the PI: “narrative construction in the International communication of Chinese political discourse” (International Communication and Translation Talent Evaluation Research Project, China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration, Grant No. FYYJ06, 2025). He has also directed several school and university-level grants. He has published extensively in domestic and international academic journals, and co-edited one textbook. He also serves as a peer reviewer for multiple SSCI- and A&HCI-indexed journals in related disciplines.
